Day started with heavy (heavy) rain and wind picking up. By lunchtime it was 25-30 knots and strengthening, so decided it was now or never as the forecast was for it to increase.

Wind picked up noticeably whilst rigging the 7m. Got out for less than an hour, Dunk was out on his 4.5m!

Dan (the man) got lofted on the beach on his 7m and retired hurt.

It was getting increasingly gusty, and well-overpowered on the 7 so decided to call it a day and retire to the Vic.

Probably a 2 star day, but an extra one as we won the rugby!
